Firstly, the location of the tasting was in the middle of a mundane office lot, with a Home Depot-like vibe that left a lot to be desired.As if that wasn't enough, our host was a woman who seemed to have taken a personal offence to our presence. Our wedding cake was nothing like the one we had chosen from them. It was incredibly embarrassing to cut into a cake that didn't match our color scheme or wedding design in front of our guests. The day after the wedding, we called to discuss our concerns, but we were repeatedly told that someone would get back to us. We weren't even asking for a refund; we simply wanted an apology. Giving The Baking Institute a well deserved 5 stars. The bakery service was part of my package from Meridian Banquets. My graduation cake was beautiful and elegantly presented, and the texture of the cake was delicious! A lot of my guest also stated that it was really good and moist. Customer service was very kind! Highly recommend and will order for future events ?
The cakes were DELICIOUS, the customer service was not so great. We would have appreciated a supportive representative. She was very neutral and if she asked questions, she would “that’s not in style.” Very discouraging if someone (the bride) wants to do something and gets a comment on an idea that she wants for her traditional wedding.

My husband and I are thrilled that we chose the Baking Institute for our wedding cake! The tasting process was flawless, and they expertly transformed our ideas into the stunning cake we received. We opted for two layers of chocolate and two layers of vanilla, which were a huge hit with all our guests! (Edited: photo of the cake added!)
My fiance and I had our tasting at The Baking Institute on Saturday 3/11 with Sierra. We had an absolute fantastic time and Sierra was wonderful and full of knowledge! We showed a photo of a cake we wanted and she said we can have the exact thing no problem. All of the cakes look so well done and we can't wait to receive ours!
Edit: I reached out to the company, and the manager was very responsive, which I appreciate. However, the cake still turned out wrong, and I didn’t get the cake we originally requested. With a reception, there's only one chance, and unfortunately, it was missed.
So thankful for the Baking Institute for making the wedding cake of our dreams! Highly recommend this combo: white cake with white chocolate mousse! it’s the best. And look at how beautiful the cake was, totally a work of art!!

Wedding cake looked really beautiful, just as we have asked, but the taste was awful, none, not even one person liked it.Dry, clearly too sweet, and when we had tasting it was waaaay better then what we got.
My fiance and I went for a cake tasting at The Banking Institute with Ciara for our wedding. She was extremely helpful with the design options and the cakes with fillings were delicious! Highly recommended.
