The Balti House

Not only was the food awful , chicken tikka was bright red and no spice ! , king prawn balti looked and tasted more like a korma and prawns looked like they where frozen ! , there was no cheese in the cheesy nana bead. When called for a refund they put the chef on and said he said he would be round at 10pm , it was around 7pm why he wanted to come around I don’t know because we collected the meals. Ended going back to get refund.

Balti used to be our go to takeaway for curry, and always used to be really good after a bad experience a few months ago when trying to place an order they constantly hung up on us we hadn’t been back for a while but tonight had takeaway wish we hadn’t food was awful, kebab tasted as if it had been rolled in cheap garlic powder, chicken dry and over cooked, lamb tough and inedible won’t be going back!

Booked the restaurant for a group of 10, which is pretty much the whole room. We decided that ordering individually was too difficult so asked for 10 mains, rice and nans, and a few veg dishes. All the food was delicious, spicy, tasty, amazingly fresh and we were all extremely happy! £15 a head great value and a superb meal.

We ordered takeaway from here at 7.15, it’s now 9 and we have still not received our order, we have tried multiple times to call and no one is picking up.

We had a really tasty curry. I will definately visit again. The biryani was the most tasteful. And the Peshawari naam was delicious
