I gave him a 3, but it's really more of a 2-2.5. It's still in the 70s. As soon as you go in, you are hit with a smell, it smells like urine, BUT, in reality, I think it's just the smell of the carpet that tastes the dining room. Certainly time to tear up and go with wood or LVT. The glasses and cutlery were very dirty when we came to our table. Our server was very polite and attentive. She gave us all the time we needed. We were a big party and some ran late. But at one point, the person carrying out food, did not care to tell her, and our food was there. We had to get up and get our own coffee. The food was hit and measured. The scallop wrapped with bacon appetizer was good, but the baked shells had much too much bread, and what seemed like an overpowering lemon flavor. The fried Calamari was extremely fat, and the bread did not stop. All enjoyed their entrees, made by surf-turf (very good, but accompanied by a useless lobster shrimp), perfectly made scallops, and a delicious filled lobster tail. The house made cream brulee and rice pudding were very good. Her white Sangria was overly sweet, strong and you tasted more alcohol than wine and fruit. It looked like orange juice. We also noticed that most people who come to eat were of the 65 older variety that are probably the same people who visited the barge when they opened. Do not make a mistake - this place has 4-5 stars potential. I would go to limbs and say that it was a 4-5 star restaurant during a time. My parents liked the place for a reason. But they must begin to get rid of the carpet, clean the dishes and update the place.
