A lovely spot overall. The food is decent and reasonably priced. The service is quite satisfactory; there was a minor mix-up when ordering at the bar, but the waitress and kitchen staff readily corrected it after serving the food. Overall, it's a pleasant and straightforward place to dine. While parking is limited, there is a nearby short-stay car park that offers one hour of free parking. Price per person: £10–£20.

We celebrated my birthday dinner while in Newport, and it was fantastic! My partner accidentally ordered the kirsch garlic bread and wobbly rings alongside our main courses, and we were both shocked at the portion sizes when our meals arrived. I didn't finish my main dish because I wanted to save room for dessert, which was also delightful! The service was quick, even with all the food we had.

You definitely get your money's worth here. I ordered the Mac and Chips as a starter, and it was actually larger than my main dish! The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. I tried a dish from the specials board, which was excellent but quite spicy. Overall, I would rate it: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

This pub has a really cool nautical theme. They offer a great selection of beers and apple wines, and there's plenty of space for private events, along with a large terrace for outdoor drinks. The food is moderately priced for a pub, and the portions are huge! Réservez une table maintenant

Didn't eat. Coffees soft drinks for a meeting. Warm enough to sit outside. Always a good spot, by the river. Roadworks atm. next to the pub. Good..cuts down the usual traffic! Nice atmosphere inside out, on a quiet weekday afternoon. Price per person: £1–10
