We love this place because we can bring our dog (inside or out! . They have gluten free buns which is a total game changer and allows me to eat a great deal of their menu. The food is quite good we have been back a few times already. If they ever get a gluten free pizza crust (they don't currently have one , then I'd be done for and they would definitely start recognizing me!They get quite a bit of light inside, they have sports on tv, and a they have a nice friendly atmosphere. You order your food with a code on the table and they are very fast about getting food and drinks out to you. Barking Dog Alehouse is a restaurant and bar right off 8th in Ballard, nestled into a side road so definitely of the beaten path. They have some seating outside with heaters and coverage, plus lots of seating inside at tables or the bar. They have a bunch of TVs and a good sized menu of food and drinks. With weekly specials, there's always something new to try. They are dog friendly inside, and baby friendly as well. The staff is so nice, quick to help, and although the food is a bit pricey at smaller portions, it's delicious. Definitely a great local spot to try out.
Was in the middle of my first run in forever on my first day back to exercising but as soon as I passed by this place I had to stop for a stout because I 'm an adult and I can do that, and I 'm glad I did. The drink was great and they have Tuesday Trivia nights that I happened to drop in on! Fun crowd! Bartenders were friendly too so as a impromptu solo drinker I felt comfortable at the bar, so I 'll definitely be dropping by my next 'exercise ' run through here again! Great spot :
I always have a great time at this restaurant. I typically order a burger, but this time I tried the pizza. Unfortunately, there was too much cheese and not enough sauce for my liking. However, the other menu items are excellent. My friend really enjoyed her steak and fries. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

The restaurant has a great menu and taplist, including the famous Pliny beer, despite being located in a quiet neighborhood. They utilize QR codes for ordering and payment, but we did notice that some tables received traditional table service. Overall, we would rate the food 5 out of 5.
highly recommend this place! The date night pizza was incredible and the service was great. The food took a while, because they burned our first pizza. But they gave us the pizza for free because of it. We left very happy given the quality and service.Food: 5/5
This charming restaurant in the Ballard neighborhood is known for its reasonable prices and incredible desserts. The Tuesday night trivia show is well-run and highly enjoyable. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and check it out! Kid-friendly: Yes
Occasionally the service can be slow, however the cocktails never disappoint and if you're looking for a solid burger spot this is it. The sweet potato fries and ranch are a 10/10 as well.
