Oh, my hoppy goodness! Where do I even begin? My recent visit to Brew House was like stumbling upon a hidden gem in a forest of mediocrity. And let me tell you, dear travelers, the true magic behind this enchanting place lies within the radiant presence of a remarkable individual named Grace! From the moment I stepped foot into Brew House, Grace's beaming smile and genuine warmth enveloped me like a comforting embrace. Her contagious enthusiasm for the craft of brewing and impeccable service turned my visit into a truly unforgettable experience. Grace's vast knowledge of brews was nothing short of extraordinary. Chose to give this vibey microbrewery a go after seeing some good reviews online and left a little bit underwhelmed. We ordered the chicken, leek and ham hock pie with peas, carrot, gravy and chips (both ordering this after being informed the steak and ale pie was unavailable). The gravy was delectable and perfectly paired with the thick cut hot chips. The pastry on the pie was a superb thickness and tender with a crisp exterior. However, we received shredded cooked cabbage instead of peas which wasn’t unpalatable just slightly unusual and swimming in perhaps too much gravy, and the chicken filling in the pie was cold with patches of lukewarm at best… tasty meal just not quite reaching the b...
We were looking for somewhere dog friendly in Bath for lunch and came upon the Bath Brew House…. The staff were friendly and helpful… letting my husband taste the Gladiator beer before ordering…. We both chose the fish and chips after asking if it was freshly made… it was and piping hot, straight from the fryer…. The chips were crispy and there was a huge serving of tartare sauce. Sadly no mushy peas but you can’t have everything…. There was a nice lunchtime atmosphere without being too noisy and they were happy to have a small, well behaved dog under the table…. We would tremendously again if ever visiting Bath.
Popped in here on a day trip from Kent as their lunch prices were reasonable for Bath they are a micro pub. We popped in here for lunch a pint on a day trip from Kent. Not disappointed. The Gladiator Best. bitter was well kept proved a good pint. The haddock chips has to be the best we've ever had ANYWHERE EVER, we're both over 65!! Batter was incredibly light. The haddock tasted *just caught fresh the chips were light fluffy. The ramekin of peas was cooked just right. The tartar sauce was a generous portion. Didn't feel bloated but nice full. Could not fault the beer, food or welcome! Well done! Réservez une table maintenant
Staff and team were absolutely amazing. Smiley faces and attentive service. However, during my meal I noticed the attitude that the manager gave to his staff. It seemed like an unhealthy workplace relationship and was truly upsetting to see. After seeing this poor show of management I feel uneasy to return to the Bath Brewhouse, and I truly hope that changes can be made as the staff work so so hard and I can’t help but imagine how underappreciated they may be.
We visited to watch ladies World Cup final whilst in Bath for the weekend. What a lovely family friendly pub with great beer garden, excellent range of drinks and great food menu with huge portions. Pub was very busy, atmosphere was buzzing and staff very attentive despite the 2 Dee at the bar. Will definitely be back next time in bath.
Decided to pop in for a drink after walking past. I was surprised to have found a table on a Friday night as there were loads of people, but it’s a massive place with loads and loads of tables. We ordered two rounds using the QR code and the drinks arrived very quickly! The staff were really friendly! Great spot for a quick drink!
Great atmosphere, but over run with students and the live music they had on the night was entertaining in the very loose sense of the word. Fairly expensive pints and food was mediocre. Réservez une table maintenant
