I would give this restaurant 3 stars. The burger and venison cigars were pretty decent, but the Brie stuffed pretzels were rather dry and lacking in flavor. However, the biggest issue for me was the lack of attention to my concerns about the online ordering system for the burger. The menu indicates that basic toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese are complimentary, so I assumed that selecting "add to cart" would include those items. Unfortunately, the burger arrived without any toppings. When our dessert arrived, we decided we wanted to enjoy our wine with it, so we unsealed the bottle and poured the remaining wine into our glasses. Later, when the check came, we overheard our original waitress loudly discussing how rude we were for opening the wine after she had taped the bottle. She then stood at the bar, speaking loudly about personal matters and using foul language, which was rather uncomfortable. The “Frog Juice” cocktail was wonderfully balanced—earthy, tangy, and with just the right amount of kick (the second one was even stronger and more enjoyable!). The duck was cooked to perfection, while the masa “gnocchi” was a bit on the dry side. We haven't dined out much since the onset of COVID, but we decided to visit the Bearded Frog since we had family in town. Unfortunately, our server was quite disappointing; they seemed rushed for us to place our order and forgot to bring one of our salads. Once we finished ordering, it took an eternity for our dinner to arrive, with no water refills and no one checking to see if we wanted additional drinks. Additionally, they've started charging for their lackluster bread as well. When our dinner finally did arrive, it was unfortunately bland and lacked flavor, which was the final straw. excellent meal. it is nice to eat so that the teller are small, but we had the chipotle sweet potato enchilada and broccolini appetizers, followed by a beef tenderloin and a sweetburger, and finally a delicious maple cream brûlée and a chocolate turtle, all washed with a few delicious margaritas.
