The Beer School - Réservation de table

We have been drinking in the Beer School, Westhoughton for years. We went in last night, it was a cool and damp November evening so after purchasing our drinks we chose to sit near one of the electric fires. After about five minutes of being there the bar tender came and turned all the fires off. The place suddenly wasn 't so cosy and inviting anymore. However, we were enjoying the live music from Amy Corcoran so we stayed to finish our drinks. Later, I decided to go to the toilet. I went upstairs to the toilet area only to find that the ladies toilet had disappeared. They had been replaced with a choice of two rooms. The choices were 'cubicle and urinal ' or 'cubicle. Went to hear a local band. Not huge probably 50/60 seats downstairs. Didn't go upstairs but there are more seats up there. Nice selection of beers and ciders. Friendly staff. Food is a bit weird, they have a menu but you phone your order thro to a local takeaway and they bring it over. We ordered pizza, was great. Defo worth a try. Always an amazing atmosphere whether it’s the live music on Sunday or lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. There’s no better place to relax, enjoy a pint or two and you can even bring your dog. Price per person: £30–40 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
