The Bengal Bear - Réservation de table

I'm not sure the comment section can capture how much my family enjoyed our meal this evening! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness from the staff, which helped us feel at ease right away—something that's incredibly important when dining out with young children. As for the food, our waiter was wonderful, and the dishes arrived promptly. Each of the six different main courses we tried was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The sides were equally tasty! We truly couldn't be happier with our experience at The Bengal Bear tonight!

I spent a few days in Bath, and a friend recommended this restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine. It's a fantastic little place that’s just a short drive from the city center. Despite being quite busy, the service was impressively fast, and the food was served hot and delicious. The visit was definitely worth it, and I will definitely be back. The staff and owners were very friendly; I had a nice chat with them, and they suggested a few places to visit before I left Bath. There’s also a small parking area right next to the restaurant.

Five stars simply aren’t enough to capture the incredible experience my wife and I had at this hidden gem of a restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of options, the food is outstanding, and the portion sizes are very generous. The service exceeded all expectations. The Bengal Bear alone makes the trip from the bathroom worth it, given the lovely ambiance. We traveled from New York and would gladly do it all over again!

Food was utterly delicious. Everything that we tasted was really good. Friendly staff. Apparently the restaurant doesn't hold a alcohol licence but you can bring your own. Ideally you will need to book a table, according to staff. The only but was the bill, it did not specify what you were charge for. (I know we had the menus when we order but we didn't check the prices). Still very reasonable price. Would still comeback Réservez une table maintenant

It was a fantastic dining experience in a lovely atmosphere. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. My only minor issue was that it felt a bit crowded when it was full, but considering it was a Saturday night, I suppose that’s to be expected.

we went as a group of four collected drinks on the shell (10 minutes on the road). had a nice evening wide selection of curries and sides, meals were delicious. not to complain and good value

The service for groups was awful, which is unfortunate because it has deterred many locals from coming back. Moonlight in Corsham is a much better option. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.

Bear of Bengal is outstanding! Food was amazing and the service and friendliness of all the staff was brilliant. Highly recommend. My wife and I will most definitely be returning for sure. Réservez une table maintenant

Great offer on Mondays and Wednesdays. The mango chicken on puri starter is amazing. The butter chicken was more like a Korma though, a bit too coconuty for me.
