We went for Sunday dinner as we were staying fairly local. We were running late due to a walk overrunning and then getting a little lost, but we called and they were lovely about it and held the table. There was a warm welcome and we sat near the fire. The food was delicious, lemon and thyme chicken and roast beef (cooked to perfection), great selection of veg. If were ever in the area again we would definitely go back. One of the best we've had. We didn't realise you had to keep driving down the lane as our sat nav took us took the top of the lane. But it is right down at the bottom! Hence the name. End.
Bennetts End Inn, is a traditional English pub. The owners have made it a lovely inviting, friendly environment, and the food was phenomenal. We had a Sunday roast, the portions were very generous and the beef was cooked to perfection. We were a table of five and every plate was empty. If you have room after the dinner I would definitely recommend one of their homemade desserts. I had sticky toffee pudding which is traditionally quite a heavy dessert but this one was light and fluffy and perfectly balanced with the sauce and ice-cream. We will certainly be back again.
This pub is a hidden gem located off the beaten path, but definitely worth discovering. I visited with some friends who are also mothers and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. The food at this pub is exceptional and the staff are incredibly friendly, providing top-notch service that creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be making this pub a regular hangout spot due to the friendly vibe from all the staff.
We had the most delicious Sunday lunch today, everything was so flavoursome with a great selection of vegetables all cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly and welcoming especially Em and the landlady Grace. We were unable to eat all of our lunch but we were offered to have it boxed up for us to bring the remaining food home, which we really appreciated. The place was busy and buzzing giving it a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back again very soon!

My partner and I visited the Bennett’s end as it came highly recommended by family and we were definitely not disappointed. We were given a very warm welcome by the friendly staff and even my partner’s dietary requirements were met. The venue has a fantastic atmosphere and the food delicious and full hearty. Will definitely be coming back

We received a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. This country pub is extremely friendly and has a cozy atmosphere with a warm fire. The food service was excellent and we would highly recommend dining here.
