Everything might be acceptable if the prices were lower, but I paid $50 for two hot dogs and fries! That's outrageous for such low-quality ingredients. Whoever owns this place needs to do better. Charging $15 for cheap ingredient hot dogs? Really? They're just like those chili cheese hot dogs from 7-Eleven, but with a strange macaroni thrown in. The chili, cheese, and mac are all subpar, and it's hard to believe that you didn’t just follow the instructions on the package to make these. My nine-year-old brother could boil those ingredients, and voila—there's your $15 hot dog! Overall, two things stand out: 1) As other negative reviews have pointed out, this place is extremely unprofessional....
Don't normally leave a review but damn. Was at LA tequila Fest on Saturday and the line to this truck was LONG! As were the lines to the other food trucks but this one was moving extra slow. As the other lines moved, this one moved at a snails pace. Took over an hour just to order. Once I placed my order, they only had ONE guy making the food. They should at least have two people preparing the food. Once I got my sand which (which had a price of $16) it wasn't worth it. I've had pastrami sandwiches twice as big, half the price and twice as good. Don't waste your time at this place as their food is not worth it and they had poor customer service.
Best hotdog I've ever had! I walked up to this truck and started asking the guys running it about their menu. I'm a huge schnitzel guy, but the guy running the truck told me it takes too long to make. Fair enough, I ordered the only other item that's not loaded with pork: the wiener dog. This is the one with sauerkraut and deli mustard. Couldn't have been tastier!! Honestly, I feel like I could eat these competitively!! Despite the schnitzel denial, I will return to this truck whenever I see it in proximity, simply for the chance at their dogs!
The bratwurst was exceptional—high-quality, fresh sausage with a wonderfully soft bun. The onions and sauerkraut complemented it nicely. While I think a more flavorful mustard would have been a great addition, and the garlic on the garlic fries wasn't evenly spread (it all ended up in one spot), these are fairly minor issues. Overall, the brat was the standout, and it was truly impressive. Réservez une table maintenant
This truck was at the LA Times Book Fair and was wildly unprepared for the crowds. We waited in line for literally 45 minutes while the trucks around us saw people 3x as quick. The man who kept storming out of the truck, slamming the door, and smoking cigarettes on a smoke free campus was also a nice touch to the horrendous experience. Avoid!!!
