The Big Apple, nestled in the tranquil countryside, offers a truly distinct and captivating experience that left an indelible mark during my recent visit. Allow me to recount my exceptional journey at The Big Apple, delving into its standout offerings, the inviting ambiance, and some delightful surprises that await.Let 's commence with the culinary masterpiece – the cheese sandwich with Apple bread. It 's an epiphany for the taste buds. Picture this: a harmonious blend of creamy cheese and slices of bread infused with the essence of apples. Every bite takes you on a delightful flavor adventure that lingers on your palate, creating a lasting impression. It 's unequivocally a must-try item on...

This restaurant reminds me of the many similar places you find in the USA (the latest I visited was near St Louis, also reviewed here, before that a small one downtown Charleston, I think) yet to be found in other parts of the world. I love them. We passed near this place when travelling from Toronto to Montreal and further east during our 3000 km trip and, upon returning, we decided to make a stop here. While missing the other 'fromagerie' locations we noticed mainly in Quebec, this place has a big free car park and a zoo, probably for the families coming here at the weekend. Lots of big coaches bringing 'hoardes' of older or foreign tourists. Well done to them for providing access for hand...

I visited The Big Apple after almost 30 years while on my to eastern Ontario. I remember them having the best apple pies amongst other menu items. But I did not anticipate the sheer options they had. The Christmas decorations inside had been set up and the experience was that of being transported to a Christmas market wonderland. Took a while to take in all the various displays. I ended up grabbing some fresh maple syrup and apple crumble, but I will be back for sure to take in the Christmas market and other activities).Even after all these years the food quality has only gotten better. I strongly recommend anyone heading along the 401 to take sometime and stop in. You won't be disappointed....

I love this place.. The smell is phenomenal when you walk inside . So very cool to actually see them making their baked goods. We bought a bunch of stuff. I thought I would try these new Apple Toffee wth Almonds and white chocolate Biscotti. Only because they were on sale. Sad part is we live 2 hours away or I would have driven back. They charged me the full price. Which means they did not make the change in the system. Sale price 4.99 but I paid 6.99 Not worth the 2 bucks when you would have to spend 40 on gas. ? Sad part is nobody will get that sale price until they change it in their system. ? Réservez une table maintenant

Worth a visit and a great pitsstop on the 401 East. Ample parking space. Lots of activities to do for kids. Good Food options inside and also in the food trucks that were present outside. They have so many varieties of desserts and bakery items. Very hard to resist. Priced nominally. There is a mini golf course which even adults can play, some rides for the kids and a petting zoo as well. A great spot for a summer weekend.

I always enjoy coming to this restaurant! The cider selection and pie options are fantastic. The pies are fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience - I will definitely be returning. This is also a great spot for tourists to check out, especially if you have family or friends visiting. Highly recommended!

There is a great selection of food to choose from and you can even purchase souvenirs, but unfortunately, the petting zoo was closed during our visit. We went on a Wednesday around 3 o'clock.
