The Birkhill Inn

I had the steak pee as usual. it was extraordinary as normal. eating never leaves the birkie down. that is the reason why I will continue to bring customers there to lunch. I also have to say that the service of cheryl was excellent. she was very helpful polite and was back and before our table with everything we needed. in all, it was a very successful day as I also signed a new contract with a new customer.

We visited this restaurant whilst staying at the nearby Piperdam after seeing positive reviews. We weren’t disappointed, food and service were excellent. Generous portions and sensibly priced as well. Steak pie was delicious as promised and I was assured by family that Mac &cheese was equally delicious. Will definitely return and feel confident in recommending this restaurant.

I have always loved the Birkie but it’s just not as good. Menu changed and everything basically £14/15 per meal and a lot less choice. I had the veg Lasagne and it was extremely salty and I really couldn’t eat it. Won’t be back in hurry.

it is ideal for a cozy, family eating or informal relaxing meeting with friends. as others mentioned, the steak pie is the highlight

What a wonderful evening meal in a fantastically comfortable location. We are travelling round Scotland
