We visited from Maryland to see family, who highly recommended The Bistro, and we couldn't agree more! On a busy Saturday night, we arrived without a reservation and had to wait a little, but we enjoyed chatting at the comfortable outdoor tables while we waited. Our server, Rebekkah, treated us like family once we were seated. She took the time to thoroughly explain the specials and vegetarian options, ensuring that our orders were accurate and timely. The food was fantastic— I particularly loved the grilled amberjack, while the others in our party enjoyed various pasta dishes. Just tried this place for the 1st time. We loved the atmosphere, location, and the goat cheese fondue. The portion size of our main meals was massive. However, they were both extremely underseasoned. I probably would have sent it back if our server had checked in on us. We asked for to go boxes for pretty much everything. It was a bit awkward to box things up ourselves since we were at a 2- top. We then had to ask another server to find our server to get the check. I will definitely come back, but will stick to wine and appetizers.
This was our first time at the bistro. The food and service were excellent. However, the acoustics in the restaurant are so poor, it’s impossible to hear the person sitting in front of you. My children’s ears hurt being there. It was over the top and quite unbearable. Not sure we’ll come back unless it’s for a brunch or whenever no one is there.
Food was amazing, unfortunately service was a bit long, however I will say it was NOT for a lack of effort. Servers were working their butts off, just bit under staffed for season. Stopped in to grab an early dinner. Enjoyed a few unique Italian dishes, a full bar and good service. Def a great choice for Italian food. I had a savory mushroom chicken dish in pasta. The salad and ciabatta bread came with sauce or seasoned oil for dipping. Lovely place.
I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed dining at The Bistro. We liked it so much, we ate there the next night as well. The food was excellent, the service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was just fun! Loved everything about it. Parking: Plenty of spots both visits.
