I have mixed feelings about The Bittersweet Shoppe On Newbury. The coffee flavors seemed intriguing, and I opted for the Cinnamon Sticky Bun Latte, but I was let down—it just tasted like a regular latte, and I couldn’t really detect the flavor. When I first received my coffee, it was also cold, and I had to request it be heated up. On a brighter note, the oatmeal raisin cookie was fantastic—soft and fresh-tasting. My friend tried the sugar cookie and loved it as well. I might come back to sample their other pastries, but the coffee was a letdown. That said, the service was good, and the atmosphere is cozy and charming.

Sizes are small, but the atmosphere is great and the drinks and food are good. Only complaint is that the only inside seating is more suitable for people taller than my extra short self, but that's mostly a me thing. The barista was very polite and efficient, service was fast even with a line of people and only her working the register, making drinks and bringing people coffee and food to the patio. I only visit The Bittersweet Shoppe On Newbury for their coffee and spinach feta croissants, and I absolutely adore it. It's such a charming place, particularly in the springtime. During the colder months, it's more of a grab-and-go since most of the seating is outdoors. I haven’t tried any of their sodas or specialty items yet, but I still highly recommend it.

We adore this charming little place nestled in the heart of Boston! They offer a wonderful variety of tasty options, ranging from sandwiches to desserts to beverages and beyond! We enjoy visiting regularly, and their outdoor patio adorned with yellow umbrellas is simply delightful! Réservez une table maintenant

I was served a piping hot soup with white toast instead of sourdough. I had to let the soup cool for five minutes before I could eat it. I returned the toast, and they didn't say anything. I'm quite disappointed and would not recommend this place.
