amazing eating, cooked by qualified chef. all foods are freshly cooked, roasted vegetables, correct potato, roasted celeriac, which I never had before and it was beautiful. my man had homemade steak pea, pictured, hand-cut chips, plywood muddy peas, and amazing jug of meat juice grott. I had pork, applemaic, roasted vegetables and creamy lauch with a beautiful blackish. it was without mistake. we were too full to eat a dessert, but we saw other diners with homemade trifle and other homemade desserts. . highly recommended, cozy traditional pub with restaurant and very friendly staff. temperature control on the way in, so they can also feel safe in these current times. my place to go now
I expected to be a good Rib Eyes for the 21 quid price day, but fair, this was far from expected! it was fantastic! the personal was all beautiful the place was clean and drinks were good in clean glasses. Even the woman was happy, which is unusual and to be honest, was the best steak I've ever eaten and my only comment was that the nasalate was missing. get yourself to the black boy for a great meal we'll come back soon.
beautiful graphic pub, full character....staff all very friendly and friendly, with great service in restaurant. we really enjoyed our hearty homemade suppe, followed by frying dinners with the best bratkartoffels we can remember for years! dessert was also impressive, homemade sticky turbid pudding. the prices are very reasonable, so would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
