First time here, we were visiting the area found an Event: Maker's Market on here today, decided to have a look. I was very impressed with the variety of stalls both inside outside in the grounds, lovely friendly sellers. We found it on FB, they have regular Maker's Market 1st every month, we will definitely visit again Sept onwards for lot's of Xmas gift ideas here. There's also a large car park which is free for user's visiting, But make sure on arrival you go to the bar inside enter your registration number so you get the free parking. It's definitely worth a visit, I highly recommend it!
beautiful and cozy pub. good place to visit with family or friends. as far as eating is concerned, I would stick to fish and chips. we order meer bass with new kartoffels, but was easy to disappoint. beer and drink cheap, but eating it is a bit expensive and they can easily find better and cheaper places to eat in preston. parking spaces outside the pub are narrow and if u parked, then u few customs will have to someone's car door. I wouldn't park anything expensive here.
our first visit, party of six. we were helped. at the bar of beth, which our order eat and drink. beth was friendly, helpful, competent and thoughtful. has picked up our order, thoroughly checked and checked with us that it was complete. on the table our foods were delivered immediately, we were refunded for unavailable items. all staff were friendly, efficient and hospitable. we enjoyed our visit very much.

Arrived about 6.30pm and it was extremely busy. Came for a private function at the rear of the bar. Great bar staff who served you quickly and the prices were reasonable. Great looking pub inside and out. We enjoyed our time in here and will visit again soon.
Top quality food and excellent service. We both had Turkey dinner with all the trimmings classic Christmas pudding which was perfectly cooked, very well presented and was delicious. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a very pleasant evening.
Decent lively pub. Reasonable decor places to sit outside. Food average sort of price, my fish chips looked ok but the fish was tasteless, watery firm... Obviously low quality frozen... Just ok pint of Guinness...
Dale and her staff are very accommodating. My son is autistic and struggles with food, but they were able to make adjustments for him. The service is always excellent. Thank you!
