The Black Cauldron

My server, Mark, was awesome. He clearly understood celiac concerns and immediately offered to go have the kitchen start a dedicated pot of oil for jalapeno fritters when I asked if they had a separate fryer. I felt very safe after our conversation. The food and drinks were insanely good (the fritters and "the classic" charcuterie board), and the gluten free sourdough from a local bakery was a masterpiece in its own right. I had no issues whatsoever after eating here. We can't wait to make another trip up to Nelson just to eat here again.

Enjoyed the drinks charcuterie and dessert board with 2 co-workers. This is the second time I have been to the Back Cauldron. I'd recommend it if you have plenty of time.

We had the valentines three course meal and it was fantastic, service was wonderful and over a great time. I'll definitely be back.

The owner is celiac and is very knowledgeable about cross contamination. The food is delicious.
