came today in the black horse the bar was nice clean the staff is very polite, although the bar doesn't look busy, the workers are busy with customers who sit. they have gone the extra mile with customers! excellent service to help me to a table with my dog extra bags that I selected during and around. I go for a walk with the dog coming here for a quick drink after walks to time, be happy as always and is in peace when we get into this pub. the service was always very friendly polite ready to help with everything. this is by far a large pub to visit they are very helpful.
pleasantly surprised by this hidden gemstone. my visit was part of a busy month with birthdays etc. and that was my last culinary experience for the month. I had his dead 2 other similar establishments, so it was good to compare. we were greeted by friendly staff. the mood was warm and welcoming with plenty of cabinets in the air. the service was slick and the eating was unforgettable. I ordered the bark that melted in your mouth. also the sections were considerable. a great place to visit for a special occasion or as tasty bites. I can't wait to go back.
Perfect place to take shelter in this awful weather. Me and collegue took shelter by the cozy fire this evening after a long day at work, and the staff were nothing but charming attentive and friendly- the manager made us feel nothing more than at home and she spoke to us about the up coming wine events! Didn't try much off the food but the nibbles that we did have were great and good portions for the price you pay for. We will be returning and are looking forward to the wine tasting events.
hands down the best Sunday roast I've ever had. traveled by funtington west sussex to try the sunday as it was highly recommended. the yorkshire pudding (we each have 2. a first for me: was light and amazing. the personal was also very friendly and welcoming. eating was really good and I will make definitiw regular trips to have sunday there.
