My first visit to The Black Rabbit and what an experience! Wow, Wow, Wow! The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with such a warm welcome from the Manager, Chefs and Waiting Staff. The decor is cosy and inviting and it has such a lovely ambience. My friend and I opted for the Christmas Lunch Menu. The food was just divine and plentiful. Each mouthful was a sensation to behold. We enjoyed a delightful dinner with friends, savoring one of the most memorable meals I've had in a long time—arguably the best in Bridgend. The Black Rabbit is almost a hidden gem set as it is on a quiet road in the Bridgend suburb of Laleston, but once found the whole eating experience pulls you back time and time again. I have to say I am a choosey foodie and will travel and pay for good food. The Black Rabbit is the stand out restaurant in Bridgend. Last Friday three of us had food there and we all chose something different to compare. The Brie won the starter, the chicken the main course and the sticky toffee pudding the desert. The food is impeccable. The service is delivered with a genuine smile. The wine is first class and the setting perfectly intimate.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is the best place to east in Bridgend. The food is always exceptional and never fails to disappoint. The quality, flavours and portions are absolutely perfect. The menu changes are great and provide a great variety. The staff are always so polite and efficient. If I could give the place 6 stars I would but instead I would just encourage all to go!
1st visit tonight, won't be our last. Excellent food, made with quality ingredients. We eat out regularly and the fabulous choice on the menu here made it so difficult to choose! Every dish was incredible, my personal favourite, the sticky toffee pudding. Service was friendly, with a special mention to the young man who was on his 1st night serving, you are doing really well.
It is difficult to put into words how amazing the food prepared by Jonathan at the Black Rabbit is. The dining experience was truly pleasant, with a staff that was incredibly courteous and attentive. A huge thank you to everyone for making our lunch so special.
Had a fantastic meal here last night for my 50th birthday. The food was delicious. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly. I would rate this place 10/10. If you fancy going somewhere for a lovely meal, then I would definitely recommend The Black Rabbit.
