Good food. But service is usually average to below average. My pet peeve is that they would force bring out a tray of fake desserts pressuring us to order it when we were celebrating birthdays. It's known that you guys provide a little birthday dessert with a candle. So when we said no ordering dessert it would be nice for you to just save us from the whole ordeal of bringing out that whole tray of desserts. It's always very awkward, forceful and rude because we had said no. We just wanted that complimentary dessert. One time we gave in and chose one dessert from your tray and it was very nasty anyway.

Our host, Daniel, was exceptional. He welcomed us warmly and addressed us by name as he seated us. He suggested several delicious appetizers, including the fantastic chicken croquettes and the lamb shank. Both our waitress and the manager were very attentive, ensuring we had a great experience. The meal and service were outstanding, and the ambience was lovely. We can't wait to return! If you're in the area, you must try this hidden gem—it’s the best Mediterranean restaurant in Huntington Beach!

Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by Daniel, who was professional and friendly, and he promptly seated us. We chose to sit at the clean bar, where Leeah provided excellent service—she was attentive and cheerful. We ordered the clams, mussels, filet carpaccio, and fries, and everything was delicious. Amazing experience delicious food. Our host Daniel Cavender was especially helpful and attentive. He helped my Mom sit in her chair and was so pleasant! Our server Kayla was also great with a positive personality and very friendly. The service was excellent to go along with the superb dinner.

We once again had a wonderful celebration at The Black Trumpet Bistro. The food drinks were amazing as well as the service. Taylor did a great job with our group that grew unexpectedly. I love the understated lighting comfortable seating. We will be going back!
