The Blackberry Kitchen

We made a reservation for outside. The table was waiting on us when we arrived - so was Anastasia, our waitress. She was very pleasant and helpful to us for making choices. We started with two beers from their long selection of bottled beers and during the meal I switched to a glass of Zin wine from their ample wine list. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of wine that I received. For starters we had the lamb meatballs and I ordered the spinach salad. The meatballs were very tasty and the salad had a delicate mixture of spinach, peppers, and small tomatoes all enveloped in a nice light dressing. For the entree I ordered the 7 oz steak off of the 'specials' menu. It came out to the perf...

The waiters, views, food and location is very good, almost perfect in fact. Their customizable sandwich order is a blessing since they have great ingredients and make your meal to your liking (special requests are available) and the food tastes great as well, one of the best meals I've had, the only problem is the price tag... they have great quality food which I wouldn't mind paying the price for what it's worth, but the cost of a simple sandwich can come up to nearly 20$, the area of rent and maintenance must cost allot and it definitely heavily impacts the price which is something I am concerned about. Although I still do come by here once in a while, I can't go as much as I hope...

The waiter was extremely attentive and efficient. The food was good, in fact my husband was extremely impressed with the lamb. I had a macaroni and cheese concoction which had been created with a smoked cheese and was baked to perfection. My step daughter-in-law had steamed mussels and my stepson the Beef Tenderloin Carpaggio. Very impressive. The setting is a huge first nations park, the Fraser River Heritage Park and the restaurant is in a large log building, which overlooks the Fraser Valley.

A hidden Gem in a public park (Heritage Park in Mission BC) Food and atmosphere are outstanding in every capacity. Chef Kerry and his staff are always accommodating and present freshness at a high level. Most ingredients are local and prepared with attention to detail. The BlackBerry Kitchen is a local favorite and will continue to be one because everything just works!

We were received in a very warm and friendly manner.Our patio table had an extraordinary view and was quiet and comfortable.The appetizers (Mussels) arrived in a timely fashion and were very tasty.All family members enjoyed their meal and desserts and all would happily return again...it's now the family go to place :-)A very consistent experience...

The steak was slightly overdone, but I'm really picky. We asked Medium Rare but it was closer to Med. The pasta was overcooked. Presentation was beautiful. But the pasta could not be rolled around the fork without breaking apart, which is literally something only I care about.

Went for a family birthday and sat out on the patio on an evening they had a jazz band playing in the park. Wonderful view of the river from the patio. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentative. Would definitely go back.

Visited from out of town and this was a great place to have a meal. Views of the valley were wonderful. Disappointed with our salmon (all overdone) but the lamb and baseball cut tenderloin were superb. No meals for kids.

Excellent food and great view when sitting inside. Not a huge menu for children for dinner but I am sure they would make something more for kids.

Very quaint spot w a nice view. Deck is recommended. Service topvrate, and nice menu. Salmon was perfect, great presentation. Would def go back.
