"Nice pubs with some nice food. We ordered the cake and Thai green curry. The food was very good, quite decent. We were in the outside seating area, which was small but beautiful. The staff was good and accommodating. Prices were appropriate for the area. I would recommend it."

I had a nice pub dinner with my husband. Everything from starter to main course and Dessert was noticeable. I didn't expect the salt and pepper to be so delicious. It was a wonderful surprise. The Beer-Battered Fish and Chips were excellent. Really fresh, light and not oily. The Sticky Toffee pudding was still warm when it was served, and the vanilla ice cream that went with it actually had vanilla beans in it. So lush. The restaurant had a cozy ambience and was also squeaky clean. The servers also wore masks and gloves. Very good COVID safety protocols. I can say it's one of the best pubs I was. I will definitely visit again.

Really impressed with this pub, nice old pub with a good history that has kept its character. The customer service was amazing, it was very hot today and we had a baby with us, so they went out of there way to make sure we had the fan in our direction, and we were nice and cool having dinner. I had a good pint of Seafarers real ale that was in great condition. And the Pad Thai both me and my girlfriend had was absolutely exceptional. Perfect combination of sweet sour and spicy. Really recommend this place for a drink and/or food.

Beautiful local jewel! We stopped on a bike tour and they make a really tasty aperol splash (can be hard to get directly from the pubs) and a perfectly cast pint of Guinness (also rare). We also had a spicy squid star who came out as full salad and it was absolutely beautiful!! In any case, it didn't expect it to come so nicely from a pub. Service was also excellent! Come back!

This is one of the pubs we have stopped on our Jubilee walk from Canada Water to Greenwich. The pub is small but is oozing with history as is hundreds of years old. There is a small sitting area at the back which overlooks the river. The staff were approachable and helpful. We have enjoyed a light battered king prawns with sweet chilli sauce with our drinks.
