Lovely, welcoming pub, excellent food, dog friendly. The garden is beautiful. The staff is the perfect example of how to run a successful local village pub and business. Just the perfect end of a lovely day spent in Ashdown forest! Highly recommended!! We will be back!

Very friendly, liked the quirky different decor of the room loved the bathroom! Breakfast was the best quality I've ever tasted, like straight from a good quality farm! Just within my price range! : in the nice historic village of Lingfield

absolutely fantastic pub. Great beer and can definitely not fault the food would definitely recommend to anyone. Try the burgers you will definitely not be disappointed.. Lawrence and Catherine make you feel very welcome

Stopped off here yesterday to have a drink and snack on the way home from holiday and had a gorgeous ploughman's lunch to share in the beautiful beer garden. Just perfect Réservez une table maintenant
