I love this hidden gem of a pub, I accidentally discovered it from about two mouths, and have visited it now over a handful of time. the personal is really amazing to go more than happy about and about, the real ale is with a good choice from there local brew. the traditional atmosphere of the pub is what they expect, but with great detail and class countdown to the log fire and dog friendliness. but eating is a real hight light, and what I always find for, his honest one of my hight lights and treat for the week, to the point that I find an apology for the woman so that we can go and dip. I have let go happy and my breath is very full and would definitely recommend them willingly leave disappointed. 10/10

We went here for a Saturday lunch and had a really lovely time in this cosy pub. The vibe is exactly what I look for in a country pub with a good balance of walkin space and tables for drinkers and diners. It feels welcoming to all. The food was of a high standard and I was particularly impressed with their homemade pie. I saw a review here saying they felt it was overpriced but i feel well crafted good food made with quality produce should not be cheap and I think it's fair. The service was friendly if a little bit shy.

late Sunday dinner for 6. I booked well in advance, had a fabulous meal in our own little alcove. the personal was very friendly and also professional. the chef also came to chat a few times, which was really good. food is not cheap, but realistic for quality and environment. super dog friendly too. thanks to all at blue ball, top brands!

I can't recommend this place enough. beautiful environment. a wonderful pub and eat it! great. all details are thought of from starter to main part. best bark roast ever! so wonderful staff and management.

called to lunch drink and the sitting outside were great, as it was beautiful and sunny. the personal was great and it was a pleasant day that made me up for the rest of the day.
