Never been here before was looking for food on the way back from the malverns and seen this inn, they stop food at 8pm and with few minutes to go still let us order, another couple came in and they let them order as well, the food was really good and hot, the landlady only took over in January and I think they are doing well, busy little place next to the road so just right to stop and relax, lovely friendly atmosphere and service was excellent, Friendly staff, Would recommend and definitely going again
Super friendly and welcoming country pub, with a really nice beer garden to enjoy the sunshine in. A relaxing scenic view for the grown ups and a play area to keep kids entertained, although I’m sure they’ll be too busy peering into the chicken coop to notice! Good drinks selection, with well kept beer. Had a pizza for lunch and it was so good. Would absolutely stop here again when back in the area.
Under new management approx March '22) looks like they will make a much better job of it than the last ones. Good atmosphere good food and very willing to mix and match the options a meal is severed with. Landlady was chatty and attentive much more like the pub used to be. I wish her well and will be back.
Myself and 2 friends came for lunch today. Never been before and would like to say how fabulous it was!!!From the staff (Gemma) to the food it was all lovely. Food well cooked and plenty on the plate. The Eton mess was the favourite of the day. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you

After a long day travelling, came here for something to eat. Despite being fully booked and not taking food orders, the staff (rather than turn me away) managed to fit me in and cook me a meal. Great little pub with really friendly and welcoming staff.
Fantastic pub. Lovely food and large portions. Really good value and very friendly staff. Huge choice of food on menu and specials board. Will definitely return!
the pub is located on the worcester side of the village, about half a mile from the river severn, although they find the river a little hard.
