The Blue Duck is no longer and is now Longview, but same owners, different menu. The atmosphere is not quite the same and doesn't feel as up market even with the renovations and change of name, although the prices still reflect upmarket. There was not much of a choice for desserts and cocktails like The Blue Duck. It was my 60th birthday 2021 and after my experience of 2020 on my birthday after moving from Melbourne and arriving on 8th December, I found the experience this year a disappoitment from last year. Our lunch consisted of Cheesy Chivey Garlic bread as starters, which was delicious and the drizzle of hot sauce gave it a wonderful spicy taste. This was gollowed by the Duck Classic Fish N Chips with a side of Greek Salad. Loved the chips and the batter on the fish wasn't too heavy which was great as well. The Greek Salad made a refreshing side for the main meal. Rainy, windy winters day outside, but great indoor table watching the ocean. Great Lunch.
My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary Lunch this week at the Blue Duck and enjoyed it immensely. We had a nice table by the window and the service and food were really good. I had the Crayfish Mornay and my husband the Prawn Linguini which were both delicious. The garlic cheese bread was so good we wanted another order. It had been a few years since I was last there and I did not know what to expect but was so delighted with the experience.
Valentines day dinner was a little disappointing. Firstly my beer came out and it was not cold, bad sign! Entre 1: De constructed braschetta was good tick Entre 2: Hot Chips were really ordinary, tasted old. Main 1: Chicken Parmy was quite bland, nothing special Main 2: Barramundi was good tick Service was very robotic like not welcoming. Price with a bottle of wine $180, I expected more. Ho hum, I guess it's a Perth restaurant

Food great, but the service was poor from one particular wait staff. Long wait for juices, though appreciate they are freshly juiced. Good flavoured coffee, but the milk wasn’t hot enough, so the drink itself was lukewarm. Definitely room for improvement.
EXTRA good customer service. Breakfast we had and was delicious. Came out quickly and was really well priced.We are from the country but will definitely be calling again. Nothing nicer than looking at the ocean while you eat Thank you.
Now called Longview Cottesloe, has always been a great spot for coffee and breakfast either sit down or on the go. The sit down view of Cottesloe beach and Rottnest Island are amazing too! Prices are reasonable as well.
The potato rosti was in need of salt and very bland as was the hollandaise sauce. The bacon and egg roll was expensive for all that it was. Bonus...cappuccino was extra hot.

Excellent food, quick and good service but more specifically waited on by a very polite and pleasant waitress at our table No. 109 today (1/1/21) at 12.30 pm.
