This place has the coolest vibe. South American/Caribbean/Californian inspired. Love the colours and the fit out and the furniture. I'm glad they've finally done something with this space behind the garden. The staff were very friendly, and someone who seemed to be the manager asked me how everything was. I told him everything was great, because I was in a hurry and mostly it was great, except for a couple things to do with the food. I ordered a Cuban pork sandwich, and it was delicious and very filling. It came with yuca chips, which were also deliciously crunchy and loaded with lots of spices. Last week, as part of our final social club event for work, we went to Blue Flamingos for taco night. They have a special on Thursdays for which gets you tacos and Tecafe (Mexican beer). Blue Flamingo use to actually be the back part of the well-known seedy Leedy. Upon entering, you can see the transformation that the place has been through – it looks quite lovely and tropical. However the seedy Leedy cages still remain (of course this has been decontaminated and sanitised haha). We ordered a few of the different cocktails to share. La disposition et le concept sont vraiment cool. Bon endroit pour se rencontrer pour une boisson détendue avec des amis. Les cruches étaient bien mais pas très fortes. Le guacamole n'a pas été écrasé correctement, avait une grosse tranche d'avocat et non trop savoureuse, le saumon Ceviche avait un goût étrange et les quesadillas étaient minuscules. La meilleure partie était les chips de la tortilla .... irait à nouveau mais juste pour des boissons - principalement pour l'atmosphère.
Cool Spot pour rencontrer des amis. C'était occupé, mais la nourriture est sortie rapide. La nourriture de style tapas était géniale et assez bon marché. de N'a pas essayé les cocktails. La seule chose à améliorer était qu'elles ont besoin de plus de sièges / tables, quelques personnes arrivaient un peu perdues car elles ne pouvaient pas trouver une place. Je mangerais ici encore, pas plus de Singey Leedy!
Est venu ici quelques jours après l'ouverture de son ouverture, y arriva à l'heure d'ouverture, alors l'endroit était assez vide mais comme je regardais autour de moi, j'ai réalisé à quel point l'ambiance serait cool si elle était emballée (en descendant également une voie de mémoire de la danse de la cage à la vieux leedy). Si vous voulez un bon vin, obtenez toujours le Tempranillo ????
