Food was very nice and reasonable priced. Yet what stood out was the service from the 2 young men working. Very friendly and accommodating Especially with our elderly mother. Was only here due to our mother recently moving to the residence home up the road and we took her out for the afternoon.. 1 slight issue was I had anticipated finishing off with a coffee.. yet the machine was out of use. And to be fair we did see the workman working on it.. that said I think choosing coffee over tea when we are out has become more of a habit then a preference as I thoroughly enjoyed my pot of tea. We plan to bring mother again soon..
First time we've used the bluebell for a meal and extremely impressed. The staff were brilliant and very friendly and we took our dogs. The food was exceptional we had fish and chips with lovely white cod and nice crispy batter then a lasagne was full of flavour several with garlic bread and pie of the day which was steak and ale pie which was ordered my my elderly mother-in-law and I can't believe she ate the lot but she said it was to nice to waste. Thought about desert but we were all stuffed so next time definitely having. We had a 30% voucher so brought the price down from a really reasonable price to begin with.
Booked online as place had been recommended and online reviews I'd read online certainly seem to match the personal recommendation we had.. Food was delicious, I really couldn't find fault in any of it..even the kids food looked great.. Service from start to finish was friendly and attentive without coming across pushy or intrusive. Was not overly busy but then I suppose it is January... yet there was still a nice atmosphere. I would recommend the kebab dishes which were simply amazing We have also now received the 30% off voucher so we plan to return to use next week... Highly recommend.
Booked online having seen the 30% offer was running..however when we arrived I couldn't locate the voucher on my emails. Most likely it was my phone or something I was doing wrong.. Yet when my wife mentioned this to gent looking after us he insisted we wasn't to worry or continue looking as he'd just put it on anyway. Which was much appreciated. Food and service were of a high quality and we will certainly be returning.

Nice food and nice pub.. We had the mixed grill and surf and turf. Both steaks cooked to perfection. Date night with my fiance. He said he'd bought me here before but I can't recall...maybe I'd had one too many gins on that occasion.. lol. We had been looking for somewhere for my parents anniversary meal in a couple of months . I've recommended this place in the family WhatsApp group so hopefully be back soon.
Disappointing, table booked 12.45. Didn’t get served dinner until an hour later. Came chilled, hard roast potatoes, no flavour in veg, no gravy boat and very tight on gear was already poured onto meal. Won’t be back.
A warm and welcoming pub. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious as always and despite being full from our mains we had a lovely dessert as well. Thanks again for a lovely evening
Not been for a while. Came after being invited along with friends last minute.. Roast dinner looked and tasted great..Nice pint and good atmosphere here also.

Lovely food really tasty and well made, and excellent friendly service. 17.01.24 6pm we have the home made kebabs and signature buggers.
