excellent pub, a very good selection of real ales and more. the bar staff is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. beautiful toastia log burner with arthur the dog relaxing from it. beautiful enclosed garden with good child facilities, next to the canal at the front! a handsome small food shop that is unique when they are on their boat! always comes!

I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast with exceptionally friendly staff who truly care about making your experience enjoyable. The outdoor seating by the canal provides a lovely atmosphere for relaxing with a few beers in the sunshine. I would definitely visit again!

As someone who has been coming to the Boat for over 60 years, it's still as good as ever. Love Big Arthur and his little friend. It would be funny if he was named after the legendary Arthur Neal; one of the finest landlords the Boat ever had!

Absolutely love this Pub. Always a warm welcome and the food is beautiful. The steaks are a must, always cooked perfectly. Worth a visit even just too meet Arthur the Pubs dog (adorable). Will return and have on many occasions. Réservez une table maintenant

great staff, very efficient and friendly. burgers best I ever cost. we had a classic, a speck and a brie boot burger and the big bootsburger (not for the finest herzed.)

The 'boat burger' is likely the best burger I have ever had. The beer is also very good. The beautiful location and the staff ensure a wonderful experience.

Great place for a party. Food excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful. Safe area for the children to play. Would recommend it to anyone.
