excellent pub, a very good selection of real ales and more. the bar staff is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. beautiful toastia log burner with arthur the dog relaxing from it. beautiful enclosed garden with good child facilities, next to the canal at the front! a handsome small food shop that is unique when they are on their boat! always comes!

Had a beautiful Sunday roast, extremely friendly staff that want you to have a lovely time, lovely setting outside by canal to sit and have a few beers in the sunshine. Would definitely go again

great staff, very efficient and friendly. burgers best I ever cost. we had a classic, a speck and a brie boot burger and the big bootsburger (not for the finest herzed.)

the 'boat burger' is probably the best burger I ever had. bier is also v.good. beautiful location and personal ensure a pleasant visit.
