We stopped here for a late lunch, the location is wonderful with the lake & parklands. So many waterbirds lovely seeing them just wondering up to you. The restaurant is open with lots of windows and airy, food is great and very lastly. The portions are big so if a small eater share a dish. The coffee is good and a large selection of teas. Wait staff are friendly and food is served fast. I will visit again when the sun is shining as it would look fantastic.
Had heard great things about this cafe but was a bit disappointed. It is a lovely location and has nice views. Sat in the outdoor area. Maybe I went on an off day or something, but found service to be a bit cold. Perhaps the upstairs area is friendlier. It's a nice enough place, but I've been to more atmospheric and much friendlier places. I did notice that the staff did seem to be friendly towards the locals/regulars though.
Sit outside under the umbrellas or inside (bit noisy), staff were pretty good, clean but most importantly menu and food. The menu looked quite good, with healthy options. The chicken salad was extremely large, so well worth the money, tasty and cooked perfectly. Kids fish and chips, was pretty good accompanied with a complimentary bucket of pencils and a colouring sheet is always a good tick when dining with kids.
Public holiday and we were heading towards narrabeen. Booked here as I knew not a lot would be open. It was very busy. Nice location on the back of the lagoon. Service was ok considering how busy it was. The food wasn't bad but nothing all too special either. Coffee was prob on a bit of a downer too. Overall it's a great place and maybe on a normal day might be a better option. Réservez une table maintenant
walked in to find an empty table with no reserved sign on it to have a very rude waiter scream to everyone in the kitchen 'this table is reserved isn't it?!?' and kicked up a massive scene about us sitting there. Even if I lived in the area would never set foot in the place again. Not good at all
Visited here for breakfast after a morning walk around the lagoon. Quite popular local cafe with a nice menu of breakfast/brunch choices. Thoroughly recommend the big breakfast and the special breakfast salad which was interesting and delicious.
Had lunch with friends recently & loved the location.The service was excellent & food was reasonable.There was a good specials board & a good choice of drinks at the bar. Certainly worth a visit.
