So I’ve been excited to try this place for a while me and my girlfriend decided to finally go. The service was fine but the food was mediocre at best especially for the price. I paid $120.62 for one boil a chicken sandwich and two drinks. This includes the 15% automatic gratuity that they add for whatever reason now here’s the worst part the following day I was charged for the exact same $120.62 at a Japanese restaurant in Queens, New York. I have never even been to New York City. I filed a claim with my credit card company, and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau
Can't believe i haven't reviewed this place. I'm a seafood lover.... As a Jamaican, I care zero for oxtails, curried goat or jerk chicken...... GIVE ME SEAFOOD! This place has the BEST seafood in Albany. Once I'm on vacation this is my go to spot. The serving sizes are huge for the prices! Can't wait for my trip summer to get a delicious seafood boil with that punish me sauce. And by the way.... they have the BEST WINGS also. Boil Shack, you're the best!!!!!! Kaylie is absolutely the BEST server we have experienced in a very long time! Her attentiveness and interaction with us was beyond five stars, and you could tell that she truly enjoyed what she did. Had a seafood boil with stone crab and snow crab. Stone crab was flavorless, it seems they are clean boiled and then the flavor added on top. So be prepared for the dressing to be the flavor. Also had crawfish boil with Cajun med spice. It was edible, but not worth the price. Traveling family from Texas. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
