Expérience déplorable : que dire du service ? Inexistant, nous avons dû aller chercher notre apéritif au bar après 15 minutes d’attente où personne ne venait chercher notre commande… Le personnel, très jeune, n’avait vraisemblablement reçu qu’une formation limitée et ne respirait pas la joie de vivre et de travailler. Une table de plus de 10 personnes, bruyante et positionnée en plein milieu de la salle, empêchait pratiquement toute conversation, sans que les managers ne fassent quelconque remarque.
For Sunday lunch I’d have liked if restaurant open until three pm. Makes it easier for family to meet up if travelling any distance. Having said that we were welcomed and had ample time for lunch, booking was 13:30. The place was peaceful and nobody was pressing to make us leave. For future visits I’d like to see more explicit info on afternoon teas on any day of week.
nice eating with good service, appreciable when as I show her vegan, from any reason or others they do not show any vegan options on their menu, although they are this and eating is nice, our 4 friends who should actually be booked in other countries as they were not aware that this was available.
It's always a nice experience dining at the Keavil House. The dining room is lovely, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is good, hot and with good portions. I wish there had been a choice of salads though in view of the hot weather and time of the year.

The service was good and the menu had a great selection although there was no duck on the night we dined in the restaurant. The food was nicely presented and was good but the coffee was bland.
Lovely food, well presented and generous portions. Stall were very friendly and helpful. We did not like the wine chosen (may have been ‘corked’ but this was replaced without fuss.
Brilliant service and the fact the servers wear gloves when bringing dishes to the table is good as I hate finger mark’s on plates.
Nice meal and hotel , but a very drunk man should not have been served any more drink !
