My fiance and I passed this place on the way to evesham and decided to stop for lunch when we passed it again on the way back. The pub itself is a beautiful building and the inside gives off a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. They...had a large party due in but were kind enough to seat us, they just asked that we order sooner rather than later to avoid being stuck behind the large party. From the moment you arrive at the Boxing Hare you are made to feel like one of the family! Wonderful warm hospitality. This is one of my 'go to ' venues in the Cotswolds. Beautiful cozy dining rooms, lovely garden for summer 'al fresco ' events and...a wide range of delicious home cooked food. Sunday roasts are exceptional with lots of choice for pesci 's and veggies (the twice cooked cheese soufflé is out of this world!! . Never had a bad meal!! Varied wine lists and ale a plenty!!!
a rsbld booked to lunch so glad that we did when we saw that several people had gone. had a drink at the bar and then to our table with a cozy kamin. I am nit a vegetarian, but chose both veggie starter and porn that were...delicious, although she looked envily on my manne venison! beautiful wein and beautiful service. do not hesitate to return. very friendly pub-dog arthur.
can't blame! the whole team enjoyed their meal from carnivores to vegetarians! the service was amazing! Many thanks for such an excellent error-free experience! oh, and I am in the rule forbidden to order steak when I am out, as I am so a perfectionist with...as I like it cooked. but you all surpassed expectations! the steak was exemplary! We’ve driven past hundreds of times but this was our first visit, but it won’t be our last! The menu is lovely and 5 of our group chose the twice cooked soufflé for our starter, highly recommended. Had the most fabulous Sunday Lunch at The Boxing Hare today .We had the 3 meat selection,what a lovely selection of vegetables.The food was cooked to perfection. went for Sunday dinner (our first time) and loved it! all four of us really enjoyed every dish. and the roasts were excellent I had the trio (bef, lamb sponge) and each element was boiled to perfection. the service was also very friendly and emily made us very welcome. in any case somewhere to be back, despite 45 minutes away!
we have dined a series of times here, and each and every time are made to feel from everyone. the food! what a tasty they all soon for another fixation of 'the boxing hare ' lovelines

We had delicious Sunday Roasts (Lamb and Pork). Followed by a shared dessert and coffee. The service and food was excellent.
