I visited this restaurant yesterday for a special Mother's Day afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. It was my first time here and I had made a reservation based on a recommendation. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was perfect. It was very cozy and just what you would want in a tea room for a lovely, refined afternoon. My mother also adored it and was thrilled with the added personal touch of some flowers to take home as a special Mother's Day treat. It's truly the little things that make a big difference. I can't praise this place enough and I can't wait to return!
My sister and I had a lovely afternoon in their tea room today. The service was impeccable and the staff was welcoming, friendly, and engaging. We stumbled upon this charming hidden gem and I am grateful that we did. Our light lunch was delectable, followed by a cake and a glass of gin and rose lemonade in the perfect afternoon setting. It was my sister's birthday and the staff even surprised her with a candle on her cake and a rendition of "Happy Birthday". The gift shop had some lovely items and I ended up purchasing a handbag. We will definitely be returning very soon. x
I don't normally bother with reviews but love this place. I discovered it when out on one of my nature walks. The staff are very welcoming and even remembered me the second time I visited. Since then i have visited several times and have never been disappointed; Always something new on the menu. I would recommend booking though, as I always seem to get the last unreserved table on a Saturday.
very recommend these beautiful tea rooms, delicious food and friendly staff. I visited for high tee and for the pop-up tapas restaurant. we were very welcome and eating was good value for money. As a vegan, it can be challenging to find a tea room that caters to our dietary needs. However, a few days before our high tea reservation, we found a lovely spot that was ready to accommodate us. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the food and coffee were even better! We would definitely return.
I came here for lunch with my son and Grandma, it was lovely! Staff were so friendly and the food was great, they cater well for allergies too my son has a milk allergy but was able to have a special piece of dairy free cake� I'd definitely recommend this lovely little place, we'll be back soon for afternoon tea x
