It is the perfect spot for a cup of coffee while catching up with a friend, but also works well for brunch, lunch, or a night out. The menu, though somewhat simple, has a special flair to it. They pride themselves on using organic ingredients from their own farm, giving their dishes a homemade touch. I had a delightful surprise at this restaurant in Upland! We decided to stop for a quick break on our way to Indianapolis and we were so happy we did. The Dutch Mocha was fantastic, as were the other specials for the summer. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was great. We definitely want to come back to try their pour overs and more of their tasty food options. They also have toys for kids to play with in one corner. If you're in a hurry, they also offer take out service.
I ordered a BLT sandwich at this restaurant, but I was disappointed to find that it had only one very thin slice of meat, which was barely noticeable. It felt more like a lettuce sandwich than anything else. The bread was good, though. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this place. The service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, earning a 3 out of 5. The price per person for a lunch meal was around $20-30.
