This pub is a hidden gem with a beautiful beer garden and stunning views. The food is delicious pub grub, and the service is attentive and friendly. They have a great selection of local ales and gins, and the atmosphere is welcoming with friendly locals. The hot meat sub with chunky chips and gravy is a must-try. They also cater to gluten-free and vegetarian diets. Don't miss out on this wonderful spot – it's definitely worth a visit!
We stayed at Ruswarp Hall down the road. We arrived on a Monday evening and were starving after our drive up! We walked in and found the atmosphere very cosy, there were Halloween decorations up and not many people inside. I had fish and chips, my partner had cheeseburger. The portions were huge and the food was a bit on the pricey side, but the service was faultless.
Such a warm and friendly welcome from the staff and the locals. The food is AMAZING, accidental drop in for lunch had us return for breakfast the next day, evening meal the following day and a breakfast to send us on our way home our last day. Seriously! If you fancy a drive out, it really is worth it.... Dog friendly, too..
