However, I had to remind them about avoiding cross contamination as they were handling food with the same gloves used for gluten-containing products. Once this issue was addressed, the food tasted great and I had no further complaints.

The food was delicious, the customer service was good, and the restaurant had a beautiful rustic atmosphere. Unfortunately, we went there during a busy evening and our table reservation was lost. However, the staff apologized profusely and made a special table for us. Despite the busy night, the service was still top-notch with friendly staff.

The interior of the restaurant is lovely and vibrant. The service is decent. The prices for food are somewhat high but the quality is good. I suggest trying the fajitas or steak. Appetizers cost around £6 and main courses are priced at an average of £13.

We have been going to The Chippy for several years now. The staff are knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free items. It may take a little longer, but it is definitely worth the wait!
