"The food was delicious, but the service was poor. We opted for the carvery, but were only given one slice of each type of meat. We ordered our drinks as soon as we arrived, but didn't receive them until after our food was served. I had to go to the bar to remind them about our drinks."

Went for a Sunday carvery. While this was very tasty the portion of meat was scarce. The staff are very young and completely clueless. They wonder around aimlessly looking at eveything apart from the customers. The barman short hair, glasses , goatee) had a very bad attitude with us , I presume because I took back our 2 pints of IPA because we got brought 2 pints of shandy. Left feeling like unless the staff buck their ideas ups and change their Went for a Sunday carvery. While this was very tasty the portion of meat was scarce. I went to this restaurant for breakfast and it was not great. The staff were very young and seemed inexperienced in providing good service. The plates at the breakfast buffet were cold, so by the time you returned to your table, your food was also cold. There were long wait times for breakfast items to be replenished, and a chef even told one customer that he was doing his best when she asked for more eggs. I had to ask twice for tea, and it took a long time for the toasters to actually toast a slice of bread. Despite not being very busy, there were only a few staff members, which led to a chaotic atmosphere. This restaurant has potential but needs better-trained staff and more food availabl...

I was very confused when I saw that TripAdvisor said this restaurant was closed, as it actually reopened in September 2023. My wife, myself, and our dog were warmly welcomed when we arrived yesterday, Tuesday March 26th, 2024, even though we were running late due to heavy traffic on the A14. I absolutely loved my salmon omelette, which I would consider the best I've ever had, and I've had quite a few in my lifetime as a retiree. The atmosphere and the staff were both lovely and welcoming.

Went for a Mother’s Day meal decor lovely inside. We went for carvery and the beef was incredible, cooked perfectly! The cauliflower cheese was delicious. A small gripe all the waiting staff (all young girls) didn’t seem to overly know what they were doing or on the ball with serving, maintaining and looking after the tables they served which did ruin it. Ross, the manager however was great. Always seen to be helping out and friendly!
