The Burnbrae Bar And Restaurant

We have been regulars for many years now and feel guilty about not giving the praise that they deserve often enough. We were served by Jo whom we have a great rapport with. She always remembers my partner’s allergy and makes us feel well looked after. I believe there was a new chef that night. He cooked my steak perfectly, so it looks like we will continue to be regulars for some time yet. It’s like a home from home.

We had a wonderful last-minute dinner at this restaurant. The service was friendly and the meal was delicious. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a fireplace, made for a very pleasant experience. The menu had a great variety of options and the drink selection was also quite good.

Once again, I had a fantastic meal at this hidden gem of a local restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively with a great ambiance. I must give a special shoutout to Jo, who did an amazing job juggling multiple tables with grace and a smile.

Very poor food. Staff were very rude and this was an extremely (at best) disappointing experience. 4 out of 6 meals were close to if not inedible. We will not be returning unless drastic action is taken to address how bad this experience was.

Never fails to impress, this is me and my partners favourite place for dinner, always great food, and the Sticky Toffee Bourbon Pudding is amazing, our server Jo was an absolute delight, very friendly and chatty

We came as family for a birthday dinner, Jo was outstanding. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Lovely homely service she deserves a loud and proud shout out. Thank you and merry Christmas

We received excellent service from Lisa who took great care of us, even though the restaurant was bustling. The food was also outstanding and arrived promptly.
