The Butchery Steaks Chops Seafood

High end steak house or cringy late night dive bar? Couldn 't really tell the difference after our last visit to The Butchery. One bartender/waiter was working his butt off, rather overworking, while his fellow teammates openly hit on a table of women sitting near us. Loud and obnoxious conversation continued for the duration of our time, which included them all taking shots, and watching the two non working waiters (could have been bartenders? literally race each other in the parking lot for another round of drinks with the women. We had an excellent view of the festivities from our patio seats, who doesn 't like dinner and a show? If that 's not comical enough, we waited almost 45 minutes...

Great cocktails and wine list with extremely fair priced dinners for the great quality. Get the meat and cheese board with the beef tallow candle. Our server said it tastes like the best part of a cheeseburger , and he was right on the money. Also did the filet trio with crispy brussels and all was delicious and prepared perfectly. Looking forward to returning time and time again so I can try everything. It 's also right across the street from Black Read, one of the best local book, music, game, novelty shops around. Welcome back to CO. I can’t say enough about this place every time I come. If you are respectful and you are giving what it takes to enjoy a fine dining super easy going restaurant you can do no better. Minus the occasional idiot of a guest you may have to deal with there is likely no better restaurant experience in all of arvada. It stands out bc it does not belong here, yet we are luckily enough to have it. Respect. Winner every time!! Kid friendliness: Kids get the same experience. Service was great Manhattan cocktail was amazing Food cold Steak tough and cold Creme Brulee, great Crab cake horrible Onion soup horrible Chimichuri sauce great Overpriced!!!! Sorry, I wanted to love this place, but it was not delicious.

Great local feel for a steakhouse. Bartender and local regulars make this a great hang. I've been to happy hour 3xs now in the past few weeks once I found it.
