I went to Butter Chicken today with a work colleague during a visit to Fairview. This is a new restaurant occupying a former fast food burger place, which was renovated but still feels ultra casual. There were limited choices for Indian food -samosas, lamb, beef and chicken curry and butter chicken and some sides and naan bread. I had butter chicken spiced to "hot" and naan. Plain rice came with the meal and a neatly presented plate was served after a short wait. My lunch was so tasty- perfectly balanced flavours and spiced to a respectable "hot " without over powering. The Butter Chicken Co. is the best restaurant we have eaten at in the Peace country, bar none. You can always tell if you have half a chance of getting an interesting dining experience if the menu isn’t eight pages long. For sure if that happens, you know you are going to get nothing but pre-prepared stuff from the commercial suppliers. Not at Butter Chicken. These people know how to create a varied menu, but with realistic expectations. And then, you get a meal that is worth paying for and talking about. This was and unexpected treasure we stumbled across. New ..great atmosphere with a personal touch. I was amazed at the selection on the menu. so many items I would like to try ..different from typical menu's. I HAVE to go back and try something else.... I really enjoyed my fish taco. which I requested they didn't deep fry and you get a whole piece of fish in the taco. not. just a few shreds. The prices are very reasonable .... I almost don't want word to get out. and keep this place a secret ... I enjoyed it that much!
My wife and I were very surprised to learn that a restaurant in Fairview serves Indian food, our favourite cuisine. We were quite pleased with the dishes we ordered. Wait time was fine, service was friendly, and the premises were clean and accommodating. We highly...recommend this restaurant (which also serves regular Canadian food that we didn't try).

I ordered a pizza and nachos, expecting a timely delivery, but they arrived late. The nachos were terrible, with stale chips and a soggy layer of cheese at the bottom, topped with a few cut cherry tomatoes. The pizza was decent, but after reading reviews, I wish I had ordered Indian cuisine from an authentic Indian restaurant instead.
when this restaurant first opened, I was always excited to visit and knew that it was some of the best food within about an hour radius in each direction. the last months, but quality has gone downhill. they hope they will come back to where they were.
I have had the pleasure of eating there a few times and was fully satisfied. I plan on going back to try other dishes on the menu. Staff was friendly and service was quick. A pleasant change for our area.
I love this restaurant! This is located at my husband's hometown Fairview, The Heart of Peace. This restaurant held special place in my heart.
