Used to visit frequently when the old owners were in charge, which were lovely. When i rang to book afternoon tea (with PREPAID voucher) I was refused because they were given by the old owners and was repeatedly told that because they were running at a loss (very unprofessional) yet they refused to understand that we had already paid £20 for them! Passed on to another colleague which were as unhelpful and patronising as the last. Explained that 2 people from the party would be buying from the menu, they couldn 't offer the remaining 2 with the PREPAID voucher a gesture of goodwill. Discovered the cafe early in 2016. It's not obvious from the road as it's up on the first floor. My husband and I love going there now for lunch fairly regularly too as the sandwiches, soup, cake and coffee are all delicious. It's very homely in there and everything is home made which we love. The new owners are very friendly and welcoming so I would recommend a visit for coffee, a bite to eat or even afternoon tea. I think they do breakfasts too which I imagine would be just as good.

I visited here on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy! It's upstairs so not completely obvious however it's decorated really nicely with smooth jazz playing. The service was quick and friendly, service with a smile. It's run by local people. It's not too pricey but you definately get what you pay for. I had a panini with chicken cheese and tomato and it was to die for. Great place will definately come here again and recommend to a friend.

We had a great experience on our second trip to The Café and are excited to visit many more times as we are relocating to the area. The menu offers a variety of tasty breakfast and lunch choices, as well as delicious homemade cakes. The staff is welcoming and provides excellent table service. I have visited on many occasions and have always left happy with both the food and the service. The ladies who work there are always smiling and chatting to the customers and it has a really friendly local vibe there. The food is equally as good and the selection of cakes it always impressive and tasty! Definitely recommend this little gem to anybody.

Visited on festival Saturday, my first visit. I was very impressed, food was lovely and staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcomed even though they were extremely busy. Thank you again for a wonderful time. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful morning at the cafe@ today. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly- they couldn't do enough for us. Our 2 year old was made to feel really welcome too which was so refreshing. We will definitely be back.

Located next to the coastal paths and a medium-sized car park, this cafe is a pleasant spot for walkers. They offer a variety of delicious snacks and meals, although the service was a bit slow.

I popped in here for a quick drink as I had a meeting to prepare for. What a lovely surprise. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere with great coffee.
