Looking? Edmonton Eats in Indio, Ca THE CAFE AT SHIELDS? on youtube! We enjoyed the café in Shields. Host, server and guitarist were fantastic! All were friendly! We noticed many families eating and I loved that pets are allowed! We have the Sante fe omelet, the works omelet, Date me omelet, shields signature omelet and a filled date. It was a lot of food. We split the salad. And yes, we had leftovers!! The food was delicious and of course everything was great with appointments! We finished buying dates and date butter to get to Canada with us! The views are great! Music was great! And don't worry about the sun that sleeps on you, they have parasols! Would definitely recommend this place!!
We're here as a group of five. We had to wait a bit to sit (which is understandable as the spot is popular, we took this time to take a walk around the farm and until the time we did, our table was ready. The dishes are usually mexican or mexican inspired and everything was tasteful. The ducks came in large portions. If you eat pork, you need to try the bacon wrapped dates (oh my, 10/10). I would step back if I didn't mention how friendly, attentive and polite all the servers are. I can't wait to come back here.
We had lunch with some friends and the wait staff at the cafe could not have been nicer. The food was good, the atmosphere was very nice, but the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this cafe if ya want to have a lunch get together with friends, or if you just want a pleasant relaxing afternoon get away at a cafe with a wonderful ambiance. Just another one of the many hidden gems here in the Coachella Valley.
One of the best restaurants in the valley, a real hidden gem. The food is so affordable and tasty, but its date shakes, oh my God! Mouthwater. After breakfast my family and I love to take the walk. Help us digest the food and enjoy the beautiful landscapes with the life of Jesus. Very recommended! You have to go early, it tends to pack quickly!
