The Cafe On The Green

The only reason I can't give this big café in the scenic Dartmoor city Widecombe 5 stars is because it has meat options. But extensive selection of vegan options in breakfast, all delicious. Your complete vegan breakfast includes avocado, sourdough, homemade hummus and mushrooms. All drinks have alternative milk options and 3 or 4 different vegan cake options. Nice place to sit outside. Love this place, food always so good, staff always pleasant. So happy that the family members who choose a plant based diet are catered for, with plenty of variety on the menu and the same excellent quality throughout. Large car park adjacent is not owned or run by the cafe, usually plenry of spaces and minimal parking charges at £1.60 for two hours.

Absolutely stunning cafe, it is huge and more like a restaurant really, attention to detail is obvious in everything, decor, food, service. Beautiful options clearly say what vegan can be made. They even let me bring my own bread, so I could eat. Gf vegan cakes too. Will definitely return.

Here are a few drinks on a ride through Dartmoor to find that there were many vegan options - the salads sound nice. Unfortunately, we didn't eat here, but wanted us to arrive for lunch earlier.
