solid cajun eating outside of la, grubhub delivery and close to the congress center the fish plate with fried cats is hulk size with 3 huge pieces fried fish that had to be divided, the 2 sad tartaric acid sauce packages would normally disappoint me, but the broth time was light and had great taste and it is easy to ask for more sauce the it is closer to suppe than anything, but the taste is quite incredible. I would add rice to thicken it, or I have some of the above mentioned fish in it that worked well. also had this slow kick I expected from cajun food, overall I was satisfied. the poboys also have great reviews with a good balance of darm and brot. the little one is probably reasonable...
I discovered this place earlier this year. The crawfish was good so my husband and I kept going back. Unfortunately, at our last visit 2 weeks ago, an employee decided to start openly clipping his nails at the front desk while chit chatting on his phone. When I asked him to stop he laughed and the proceeded to clip his nails in the kitchen. He apparently did not think his nails flying in people’s food as a problem. What was more disappointing was the owner always came off as really caring about his restaurant but when I asked to speak to him I didn’t receive a follow up. We just left. I am from south louisiana, so I have eaten at many different claw houses among many different circumstances. the crust fish was great, the place was exactly as a crustacean place should be. the location was not the best I agree, but I know from experience that it is the places that are difficult to reach are in the rule the best. hey really great job, the owner was friendly and very honest. I can see that they hurt a feeling or two, but when they go south louisiana, they leave the feeling home if they don't want to hurt it. honesty is what hurts people most.
This is like fourth time I've tried going to this place. Their hours show that they are open until 10pm. All four times I've been told that they getting ready to close 7:32/7:46/7:24 and today it was 7:46pm. Good luck guys. Your hours are too inconsistent for me.

Waste of time and gas.... plus I can't get a shrimp poboy now because everyone is closed. Update your hours. Google recommended them. I didn't recognize the name, but when I pulled up I remembered I didn't like them because they had breaded shrimp.Food: 1/5
good food, good people. I usually get the daily special of a ponboys and gums. the po youngs are fantastic. the brot is the best. the rubber bear is also very good. they had to rebuild because of harvey and the upgrade is nice.
Very very delicious. Came all the way from San Antonio and the food is so flavored. Boiled shrimp was amazing. Looking forward to going back. I totally recommend. Staff is so friendly.
Very good service and the staff was very nice. The crawfish egg rolls were amazing. The crawfish were smaller than bb's but the service made up for it.

The po boy is the truth. I been to a lot of spots but I rock with this one. It might look and feel sketchy but the food is delicious.
