As much as I wanted to give a good rating for the taste of the custom cake I ordered, the experience just doesn't allow me to. I ordered a custom black buttercream chocolate cake for my husband's milestone birthday and guess what our hands, mouth, teeth everything turned black. I have ordered vibrant colored buttercream cakes a lot and have never seen this. Paying $295 for a custom cake, the least I would/should expect is a good experience. I'll preface this with that my review is specifically for the tiramisu. The people working there are fine (although the workers ignored me for a minute despite there being no other customers around), the interior is clean and nicely decorated, and the rest of their goods may very well be good... but since I've only ordered the tiramisu that's all I can base this on.Their tiramisu is not tiramisu. The place is usually empty inside so when you walk in, the employee is ready to help you or answer any questions that you have. Mike C. generously offered to bring a cake for a birthday party, and I was excited to try it as he has a knack for finding delicious treats. He brought out a Coffee Crunch Cake from The Cakery after dinner. The first thing I noticed was the abundance of coffee crunch candy on the outside. The cake consisted of three layers of moist vanilla sponge cake soaked in a light coffee syrup and filled with whipped cream. The coffee crunch candy added a nice crunch to each bite, although I found it to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Nonetheless, I appreciate Mike C. for bringing it and giving us the opportunity to try another tasty cake from The Cakery.

The cakes and sandwiches at this restaurant are delicious, but the service is severely lacking. From the moment we arrived, we felt rushed and were informed that they would begin closing up in just 20 minutes, even though it was only 6:10 PM. They didn't have utensils available, the coffee machine was broken, and there was no hot water for tea. Overall, we were unimpressed and believe that this establishment could easily shut down without much impact. There are plenty of other bakeries and restaurants in the area that offer superior food and service.
I have purchased cake from this place multiple times, including Swedish Princess and Mango Mousse. All of the cakes have been incredibly delicious, fresh, and amazing. My favorite is the Mango Mousse because it is light, refreshing, and allows the mango flavors to shine through. Recently, I have been ordering cakes for pick up for special events like birthdays and baby showers. Ordering online is easy and pick up is hassle-free. I can always rely on The Cakery to deliver. I will definitely be returning!
We got 3 things here, the strawberry shortcake, the vanilla cupcake, and the passion fruit mousse. Everything was stale! The only thing I actually enjoyed was the layer of whipped cream in the strawberry shortcake. But you could taste that all these things were sitting out for at least a few days. It was a shame not one thing was fresh. It was unfortunately a waste of money coming here.
Great cakes and even excellent customer experience from ordering, customization to delivery. Thank you to Rosa and the team at Cakery for a wonderful lemon cake and cupcakes for my mom's 75th birthday. This is the reason I keep coming back.

cakes were much drier. Tried princess cake and cupcake. Both were dry. Coffee was pretty good. Too expensive for average quality.
