Not sure what went wrong, but we arrived early afternoon on a holiday Monday when the weather was beautiful and were directed when asked to seat ourselves on the patio which we did. We sat for what seemed forever with servers buzzing around but couldn't get any attention. Finally, someone who appeared to be a manager was strolling about and asked if we'd been served to which we replied "no". A server appeared shortly after and subsequently she did an admirable job of trying to serve us and the other tables nearby but it was SLOW. Our server apologized profusely several times but could only offer "the bar can't keep up".So, bad luck, bad planning, bad management? Not sure, but it spoiled what...
Have been to Brewhouse before and loved it, they definitely did not disappoint this time either. Love the upgrades to the decor with the light up kegs and all the stanley cups. Wish I knew it was here sooner as I had gone to a couple other spots while in town for business. Had a bit of a wait so went to the bar ans Amanda was a rockstar and made sure I was taken care of while there, when my table was ready i was paged and was greeted at the bar and went out to the patio. I understand they had just opened it that day. It looks like its going to be a great patio for them. Amber was amazing and attentive. Derek stopped by to check on me which was a nice touch.
Went for lunch.The warm beer came with no glasses.Finally got those after long wait.Don't quite understand the button call thingy,seems like a waste of time because it still takes forever for someone to come.The food was not very good,soup was good but chicken quesadilla had no flavor except maybe a burned taste.Did not come with salsa or sourcream,had to use the button again and wait.Finally someone came and i got my sour cream that was supposed to come with meal.Will not be back.
We came In a second night in a row because we were hungry and our last night experience was amazing. Hillary was our server last night and we requested her section again tonight as she makes your experience memorable. The food is great, the staff are incredible and the environment is great. I would recommend this place to everyone and I would recommend you can have Hillary serve you, you are lucky. My buddy, who hardly ever tips, tipped tonight 35%.
Our server, Sonia, was amazing! She had excellent suggestions that made everything from our drinks to my gluten-free customized pizza amazing! The food was delicious - probably the best GF crust I've ever had. Our 1 year old son was well taken care of - he sat in a high chair made from hockey sticks, and munched on veggies while waiting for the food. The food came quickly! Overall we were very impressed and will definitely be eating here again!
I think this restaurant would be more suitable for younger children. My friends and I visited for the first time and ordered a steak sandwich, an appetizer, and beer which came to almost $50. The service was somewhat lacking and the music inside was too loud for our liking. I will likely opt for Montana's instead of returning to this establishment.
We recently picked up poutine to bring back for the family to celebrate the upcoming 150 years of our country. What a betrayal. What we got had no cheese curds!!! Just grated cheese instead. That is not Poutine. If you don't want to spend the extra money on the real thing then call it shredded cheese fries!
