Delicious espresso with lots to offer in pastries, sandwiches. There's a good amount of seating and it's attached to another shop. Unfortunately, the barista could barely give us the time of day. She had a headset on taking orders from the drive through. Despite two other people in there, no one greeted us or said anything. We gave our order when we were looked at. I'm not even sure she said thank you or any other reply. I guess she gave us the total of the order, but that's it. It's too bad such a cute place with good espresso and food has such terrible service.
We use The Canadian Grind for corporate catering for groups of 5, to groups of 65. Always fresh food, will make whatever I request and have many great ideas and menu items so we never get tired of them. Will deliver, always on time and always smiling! For large groups we will order coffee urns and they come with a great selection of supplies, basically everything we need and more. Our office is always excited when they see a blue box being delivered to see what treats are in it !
Had a little time to kill before my flight so stopped in to grab a coffee and check my email. To my surprise the store is connected to the photo shop next to it, there are only about 6 little tables to sit at, and surprise #2 was that there was a drive thru option. Ordered a med latte, and an almond croissant , came to $8. Both were descent. They have free wifi, or Shaw open if your already a Shaw customer. Not a bad spot, but definitely needs a little more seating.
Google is incorrect that they serve breakfast meals. This is why I only give it They do serve a breakfast pocket which looks delicious, as do all their other SNACKS, but it's not a meal. Because they were courteous despite my incredulity at Google being wrong, and due to their snacks all looking scrumptious, plus their interior design looking gorgeously rustic, I give it a rating. False Google info Everything else Total therefore
Macmac, a friend of mine bought a tacos in this restaurant and when she got it she was disappointed. Why? because the tacos was damn dry. There was no sauce in it. What a shame... And you know what? She has to pay cents extra and we still don't know why. Scam. have a great day
