**Service:** The service is always professional, though it can be a bit slow at times. That’s to be expected since this place is always packed, which I think is a good sign. People keep returning because they love the food. We welcomed the Capital Grille-Palm Beach Gardens years ago to our favorite Steak Houses of the Palm Beaches. We are 100% sold on the dry aged steaks at the Capital Grille, nationwide, and we have never been disappointed in over 200 dining experiences at the Capital Grille. Initially, we planned to order the larger seafood tower, but we opted for the smaller one and added lump crab instead. This turned out to be a fantastic decision, as we couldn't finish it all. Everything was delicious; the portion of lump crab was incredible and full of flavor, the blue point oysters were fresh and shucked clean, and the six jumbo shrimp were crisp, tender, and delightful. Amazing! Excellent!! My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Capital Grille. Our server Marco was awesome. We started with the crab and lobster cake. It was stuffed with lobster and crab. Then I had the surf and turf. It was the best filet I have ever had in my life. My partner had the sliced filet with chippolini onions and mushrooms. We shared the Brussel sprouts with bacon and balsamic vinegar and the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was beyond compare. We were both treated to desserts for our birthdays. We were a group of 7 for a birthday. They had the table decorated with cute birthday confetti. We had the calarmi sautéed instead of fried. Most at the table thought it was too hot, but I loved it be careful getting this is you don't like spicy food). The special was the African lobster tail 10 oz. Very delicious and good size. The New York strip was cooked just how I like it. They were VERY busy on this Saturday night so they were a bit slow, and a few times we needed to stop people to ask for refills. Other than that our waiter was great.
Once we finished our meals, the manager graciously removed the charges for our dishes from the bill. Until that moment, we had been content with the attentive service we received. To top it all off, as we were leaving, the manager presented Bryan with a $150 gift card for his birthday. This truly restored my faith in the restaurant, all thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by the manager—a true professional! I made sure to express my gratitude to her and thank her for everything!
A reservation is definitely recommended for dinner time as we saw several parties waiting. The ambiance is elegant but not to the point that they require a formal dress code. The quality of food from appetizers, main entrees, drinks, and deserts were all amazing and succeeded my expectations each time. I personally think Capital Grille is better than 1000 North. The service from our server was impeccable; I wish I could remember his name because he deserves a recognition.
Always excellent professional-level service from the valet to the bar tender, wait staff, and everyone in between. The drinks are heavy pour and garnished perfectly. We typically get the same salads (wedge) and entrees (bone-in ribeye and fillet) and are never disappointed, not even a little bit. It 's nice to have a usual that is constantly exceptional.
